Hi, I’m Jennifer, a seasoned special education teacher with over 20 years of experience. I hold a Master’s degree in special education and earned my certification as a director of special education.
Throughout my career, I’ve developed and refined strategies to effectively handle student behavior, and I’m passionate about sharing these insights with you. My extensive experience includes developing and running self-contained behavior programs, as well as supporting students with behavior problems in general education settings.
Additionally, as a certified Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) trainer, I have worked with teachers and staff to train them on how to avoid and de-escalate anxious, hostile, and challenging behavior.
I am aware of the numerous responsibilities that teachers have, from educating students in academic subjects to assisting those who struggle with behavior difficulties. My objective is to equip teachers with the appropriate tools and resources they require to confidently and effectively overcome these challenges, consequently saving them valuable time and energy.
